Welcome to My Last Act

To people who know me, this will seem a bit creepy and morbid. I don't think it is. As I entered my 60s, I had the realization that many at this stage in life have, that my time on Earth is limited. It is defined, and I see an ending in sight. Of course when I was this age......

the world was large, long, and there was endless possibilities. Now, at the age of 61, I have lived a life. I have experienced joy and sorrow. I have luxuriated in calm, and I have survived chaos. I'm not ready to say how I feel my life has gone, but in this blog, I will write about experiences I have been through and the lessons I have learned. I will share my thoughts on various topics. I will examine things with a bit more scrutiny. I will joke with you a bit. I may make you cry. I suppose I will anger you as well. I will introduce you to new people, and reintroduce you to old friends.

I will be me.

You are all welcome to ask questions, share your thoughts.

In the past I have written about running, weight loss, coffee, and a few other things. Topics from those writings will be revisited. If you feel you already know that story, you are fine to move along to the next entry.

As I know blogging is old school at this point, I may decide to podcast or even go on the TikTok thingy. After all, I am hip...cool with the kids...NOT! I am though, willing to try new things.

So join me as the curtain rises on Java's Last Act!
